What is a discount rate?
Discount rate is the rate which a merchant pay as a percentage of his gross processing.
For instance if the discount rate is 1.16% and the merchant processed $100 then he will pay $1.16.
What type of equipment do I need to accept credit cards?
It depends on the type of business you run.
If you have retail store, hotel, restaurant or service business you should use a wired point of sale (POS) like the Hypercom T4100 or any other terminal, or you can use a wireless terminal like the Nurit 8000.
Another option will be a computer equipped with credit card processing software.
If you have mail order telephone order business or internet business you will need just a connection to the internet and in some cases our software to work with your virtual terminal.
What is a chargeback?
When a credit card-holder informs the credit card companies that the charge was not authorized, that the merchandize were not delivered or that the services were not preformed as promised, the credit card companies are crediting the customers account, that’s a chargeback.
With most processors this whole process is automatic and fast, the merchant is becoming aware of that very close to the customers account being credited.
With us the customer will have 7 days to prove that the goods or services were not delivered.
How often should I expect the funds?
Funds will be transferred from your merchant account to your chosen account on a daily basis.
